ARTIST STATEMENT

While most of my images are a celebration of natural beauty I also realize that I am intrigued by the darker side of life and the potential of a different kind of beauty there. To me these kind of images are not offensive but slightly uncomfortable with the possibility of darker stories, trouble in the rear view mirror or on the horizon, and perhaps with a sinister beauty if you will, but I’ll leave that up to the viewer’s interpretation.
