ARTIST STATEMENT
I don’t say “I love” to paint, because painting is work, hard work. It’s good work though, and rewarding. I will say however, that “I’m driven to paint”. The love comes later when a painting is completed. You start with an empty surface and wind up with a work of art. It’s very satisfying.
