I created many photographic collages in the 1980’s. I have recently been revisiting the medium after creating a piece titled “Native American Magic Carpet” for a juried exhibition using recycled materials. In this case I had an idea (think crazy quilt) that required collecting advertising examples of Native American weavings from Western Art magazines.

It’s a refreshing change from painting or photography as a creative outlet.
